CJDISA Session during Prion 2011

During the Prion 2011 conference in Montreal, the CJD International Support Alliance delivered the presentation "Supporting those affected by Prion disease the world over".
Animal TSEs workshop

A pre-conference workshop focusing on animal TSEs will be held on the 16th May 2011, just prior to the Prion 2011 conference.
Workshop "TSEs in animals and their environment"

Together with support from the NeuroPrion Association, the EU project GoatBSE, the VLA-Weybridge and the Colorado State University, a workshop "TSEs in animals and their environment" was held September 8th 2010, a day before Prion 2010 congress in Salzburg.
Prion 2011

Co-hosted by PrioNet Canada and the Alberta Prion Research Institute, Prion 2011 the world’s largest international prion research conference, will be held on May 16-19 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal, Quebec.

Patient Associations

Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) patients and their families need to have information on current research and treatment advances. Several organisations from around the world bring together CJD patients in order to exchange their experiences and make the link with the researchers working on the prion.

Events

NeuroPrion makes available its video platform and filming knowledge to Patient Associations in order to increase the visibility of their actions.

NeuroPrion has thus filmed and put online several events for these associations like:
