Patient Associations
Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease (CJD) patients and their families need to have information on current research and treatment advances. Several organisations from around the world bring together CJD patients in order to exchange their experiences and make the link with the researchers working on the prion.

The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation (CJD) is pleased to announce a Request for Grant Applications for research projects relating to human prion diseases.
Deadline for receipt of letters of intent: November 30, 2008
Awards: December 31, 2008
Maximum award per grant: $20,000
Research proposal expected to be completed in 1 year from the award

Events
NeuroPrion makes available its video platform and filming knowledge to Patient Associations in order to increase the visibility of their actions.
NeuroPrion has thus filmed and put online several events for these associations like:
the 6th CJD Family Conference
the CJD Day in Göttingen (only in German)
the presentation of CJD ISA during the NeuroPrion conference Prion 2007.
